Born on May the 9th 1981, in Reunion Island (Indian Ocean), as a result of French and Indian interbreeding, this undeniable epicurean has been bathing in the artistic world since her early youth. With both parents passionate for music, between a guitarist father (author/composer) and a singer mother, it is pretty natural for her to be passionate for music herself. At age of 7, she starts learning notation and violin, getting into the Reunion Island music Conservatory. She is 13 years old when she brings out her aptitude for singing and writes her first songs at piano. At the same time as she does her scholarship, she goes on with her musical learning and obtains her certificates of study on violin and notation until she gets her high school diploma. She is 18 years old when she decides to leave the Reunion Island and takes a flight to Paris. She goes on with her musical learning at the Conservatory of Creteil until the year 2000, after a professional post-graduate degree on notation and violin. From the very first moment she arrives in Paris, Emilie doesn’t waste time and takes a stand in the artistic circles, evolving from an experience to another. Firstly as a violinist on television sets, she goes there with famous French artists like Jean Jacques Goldman, Pascal Obispo, Florent Pagny... She also sings inside the group named Ométis Gospel. In the year 2002, she integrates the company of the musical comedy named "Paul et Virginie", in which she plays the female leading role, directed by Christophe Luthringer, and produced in the Reunion Island. During the year 2004, she meets and works the vocal techniques of modern music styles, with the vocal coach Guillaume Coignard. After she encounters Zucchero on the TV sets, this artist asks her to go with him on his concerts as a solo violinist. In particular, she does with him the “Live 8” scene on July 2005 with 300.000 people there. On August the same year, she passes the casting for the Star Academy, integrates the 5th Season of that reality show, and ends finalist. She sings there on prime time with several national and international artists such as Mariah Carey, Alanis Morissette, Carlos Santana, Ricky Martin, Paul Anka, Texas, Céline Dion, and more... That ends with a huge tour, with a symphonic orchestra and the rest of the show competitors, in all the French, Belgian and Swiss Zeniths. In December 2006, Emilie is chosen to be the patron of the Telethon in the Reunion Island, the land of her roots she has close to her heart, a place where she never stops going year after year. At the end of the year 2007, she accepts a new experience that is acting. From the end of the year 2007 to nowadays, she shoots 3 seasons in a sitcom of a new kind, adapted from a Mexican telenovela: "La Baie des Flamboyants". To do that, she improves herself in the Actors Studio of Paris, and she is coached in the shooting set by Anne Nathan. She also sings for another cause with other artists, for the children suffering from cancer, with the association "Tout le monde chante". They do a Festival and a concert in the Olympia of Paris for that. In July 2008, she takes part by the side of Nicole Croisille, Sanseverino, Julie Zenatti, and also Nikos Aliagas and more, into the recording of an album dedicated to the great Nino Ferrer, promoted by Pierre Bertrand and Cristal Records. This album comes out on 2009, January the 22th, she sings alone in it "Je cherche une petite fille". Emilie has just ended the filming of season 3 of "La Baie des Flamboyants", and she is actually preparing an album close to her own being. Mingled with Jazz, Soul and smooth groove, her acoustic music simply talks about what she is: a kid of the interbreeding...
